Western Sydney Wanderers general manager John Tsatsimas has ruled out suggestions that ex-Everton ace Tim Cahill could soon be joining on a guest contract.
Speculation is linking the New York Red Bulls midfielder to a short-term deal with the A-League club but Tsatsimas insists there is no truth to the rumours.
"This is the first I've heard of that one," he told SBS after the links emerged following Cahill's attendance at last weekend's derby with Sydney FC.
"Tim's a western Sydney boy who has a lot of friends at the club. He was at the game with his family and that's it. There's nothing more to it than that."
