Former Liverpool fullback Jordan Mustoe has moved to Belgium with Westerlo.

The 23 year-old defender has joined Westerlo on an 18 month deal after impressing in trials.

Mustoe joined Accrington Stanley earlier this season on a short-term deal from Wigan Athletic.

The left-back made four senior appearances for Wigan, all in cup competitions, and had loan spells in League Two with Bury, Wycombe and Morecambe last term.

Mustoe signed for Westerlo as a free agent.
