West Ham's Dailly set to stick with Rangers

West Ham defender Christian Dailly could be set for a permanent move to Rangers.

The Scottish defender fell down the pecking order at Upton Park last season under boss Alan Curbishley and spent most of the campaign at Ibrox.

And manager Walter Smith is keen to keep Dailly north of the boarder, along with Fulham's Steven Davis, who was also on-loan with the Scottish Cup winners.

"I'll have a word with the lads and we'll see where we go from there," Smith said.

"I would hope to keep them but we'll just have to wait and see how they feel about that."
