West Ham United won't get a clear run at Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason.
The Daily Express says Newcastle United are expected to rival the London club for the 24-year-old in the New Year, with him already on the radar of director of football Joe Kinnear.
Finnbogason is reportedly available for around £5million and was been linked with Sunderland, Everton and Aston Villa this summer.
