West Ham wing-back Antonio apologises to home owners after Lambo crash

West Ham United wing-back Michail Antonio has apologised to the owners of the home he smashed his Lamborghini into on Christmas Day.

The Daily Star says Antonio has made a secret trip across the capital to apologise in person to residents at a building where he smashed his Lamborghini into the front garden on Christmas Day.

Antonio also assured them he would cough up for the damage once their Housing Association had come up with the bill.

The star careered his £210,000 sports car into a road sign and through the front wall before smashing apart a brick bin shed while dressed as a snowman.

Antonio, 29, was on his way to the team hotel for the Boxing Day clash away at Crystal Palace when he lost control at lights in Balham, South West London.
