West Ham United are keen to open new contract talks with Aaron Cresswell.
The Mirror says Manchester City are hoping to ship out Gael Clichy and eyeing Cresswell as his replacement, but West Ham are desperate to hold on to the 25 year-old.
At the end of the season, Cresswell will still have four years left on the contract he signed when joining the Londoners from Ipswich for around £4m last July.
However, the Hammers want to reward him for an impressive first season with an improved five-year deal that will run until 2020.
