West Ham United are reportedly poised to make a move for QPR striker Charlie Austin.
Austin, who has been in much demand during this transfer window, could well be the latest addition to new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic's squad.
With the England striker scoring 18 times for the relegated R's last season he has naturally acquired various suitors, with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace believed to previously be leading the charge to sign the 26-year-old.
West Ham, though, are hoping to trump their rivals by meeting QPR´s £15million valuation for the frontman, as well as offering either Matt Jarvis or Kevin Nolan to secure the deal.
Bilic is keeping his options open and, should the bid for Austin fail, is prepared to launch a bid for Manchester United´s want-away striker Javier Hernandez.
