Shakhtar Donetsk defender Razvan Rat has emerged on the radar of West Ham United according to Sky Sports.
The 31-year old Romanian left-back comes out of contract at the end of the season with Shakhtar looking to sell him prior and the Hammers are showing interest.
West Ham signed Austrian defender Emanuel Pogatetz on loan from Wolfsburg yesterday but are still being linked with a cut-price move for Rat.
