West Ham United are moving for Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo.
The Hammers face losing centre-forward Gianluca Scamacca to AS Roma this summer.
And Diallo is being considered as a replacement for the Italy international.
L'Equipe says West Ham have made a bid of €17m for Diallo, 28.
However, the bid is said to have been rejected by the French club, who are demanding significantly more for the striker, who has a deal to 2025.
Chelsea's umbrella company Blue Co bought a majority share in Strasbourg last month.
