West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho is adamant his stunning goal against Liverpool was no fluke.
Sakho's goal at Manchester United on Saturday was a straightforward header but it was the measured chip over Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet in West Ham's 3-1 victory at Upton Park the week before that made many sit up and take notice.
"Even my team-mates have asked me the same question," he said. "They ask me 'Were you trying to score a goal or was it your lucky day?'
"I admit my first instinct was to cross the ball but I looked up and saw the Liverpool goalkeeper moving forward so I thought, 'why not?'"
