West Ham striker Nouble: England U19s are learning from Spain

West Ham United striker Frank Nouble admits Spain's World Cup winners are must see viewing for England's U19 European Championship squad.

Nouble revealed he and his team-mates are not inspired by England trio Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard - but instead look up to Spain's World Cup winners such as Andres Iniesta, David Villa and Xavi.

Nouble said: "We watch Spain a lot - they're brilliant and everyone should admire how they play.

"As youngsters, we also talk about their football. But we love watching players like Iniesta in action and performing well. It's a good thing for us to do and we believe it helps us.

"We all want to get to their position where they're keeping the ball and winning World Cups.

"We want to play as well as them and, if we keep improving our game, there's no reason why we can't do it."
