West Ham United are firmly in the race to sign Anderlecht's talented young midfielder Leander Dendoncker.

David Moyes is a massive fan of the central midfielder. West Ham recently sent Stuart Pearce to check out the player first hand, according to The Sun.

Dendoncker is 23 and wants to move to the Premier League this summer. He first came to prominence during his side's Europa League games against Manchester United last season.

He was a West Ham target in January, but his club were not willing to sell. A summer transfer looks a lot more likely.

Everton and Crystal Palace are also circling around the player.
