West Ham United striker Frederic Piquionne has joined Doncaster Rovers on a one-month loan.
Despite making 21 appearances for the Hammers so far this term, the 33-year old Frenchman has been given permission to leave by Sam Allardyce with the deal set for an initial month with the prospect of an extension.
Piquionne says he is ready to give his all for Rovers who are fighting for their survival in the Championship.
"In my head I'm a warrior and I will fight to keep Doncaster in the Championship."
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders added: "He's a player we've been after for a while and it's a big signing for us.
"I want to thank West Ham as well for helping us with the wages otherwise we would never have been able to afford to sign him.""I have been involved in scraps like this before at some of my previous clubs and I'm ready," he told the club's official website.
