Winston Reid's new contract with West Ham United has been met with delight by co-chairman David Gold.
?The 26-year old defender committed himself to the Hammers for a further six years recently which Gold suggests is a massive coup as the east Londoners prepare to leave Upton Park for a new home.
?"Winston is a top player and an icon in New Zealand so to have sorted him out for six years is brilliant and along with the signings of mark Noble and James Tomkins shows this is a club that is displaying it's ambition ahead of our move to the Olympic Stadium," Gold told Claret and Hugh.??
