West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame has suggested that he remains a transfer target for Liverpool.
The 26-year old Senegal international was on the radar of the Anfield club a couple of years ago when he left Wigan Athletic to join the Hammers and he claims that he is still in the minds of the current Premier League leaders.
"Two years ago I wanted to join a team with ambitions," Diame said.
"Liverpool? I can't tell you if I will be a Liverpool player next season. But I think my name is still on their wanted list.
"I don't hide it, I'm ambitious and I want to join a top-six side. I am 26 years old and it's time to take that step."
Diame, who is contracted at Upton Park until June 2015, has made a total of 70 appearances for the Hammers since arriving in east London.
