West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has distanced his club from speculation regarding AFC Bournemouth's Callum Wilson.
At least 10 Premier League clubs, including the Hammers, have been credited with an interest in the 23-year old striker who has netted 20 Championship goals for the Cherries this term.
Wilson's tally has helped lift the Dorset club to the Premier League and it is for that reason that Allardyce does not believe Eddie Howe will offload his leading scorer.
"I think he would probably be too expensive," Allardyce said.
"If Bournemouth let a player of his calibre go, after just being promoted to the Premier League, they would put a massive price on his head. If they were tempted to sell him, it would be for a big number."
