West Ham ready to challenge Everton for Moyes return

West Ham United are keen to bring David Moyes back to London stadium.

The Sun says the Hammers are ready to challenge Everton for Moyes as the managerial sack race hots up.

Both of Moyes' old clubs are eyeing up the Scotsman to replace their under-fire coaches. Everton's board held talks after Saturday's 2-0 home defeat by Norwich left Marco Silva's future on a knife-edge.

And Manuel Pellegrini is under severe pressure with West Ham only one place off the Premier League drop zone following a horrendous run of eight games without a win.

Moyes has been out of work since his interim contract at West Ham expired at the end of the 2017-18 season.

He lifted the team after Slaven Bilic's sacking and secured a 13th-placed finish but was then overlooked in favour of Pellegrini.
