West Ham reach advanced stages of talks for Spartak Moscow midfielder Kral

West Ham United are very close to securing a deal for Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral.

The Hammers are ready to pay more than £20 million for the defensive anchorman, per Football Insider.

While the deal is not 100 percent complete, there is optimism on both sides that an agreement will be reached.

West Ham would have signed three Czech footballers in recent years if they secure Kral, as they already have Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal in the first team squad.

Kral and the Hammers duo are all part of the Czech Republic national side that will compete in the European Championships this summer.
