West Ham United are chasing Inter Milan midfielder Saphir Taider.
The Daily Star Sunday says Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is closing in on Taider, 22, who is keen to leave Inter Milan to play in the Premier League.
Talks over a season-long loan with an option to buy the Algerian are now at an advanced stage.
Taider, who played twice at the World Cup, joined Inter last summer from Bologna but found his opportunities limited.
