West Ham pull out of race for Arsenal winger Oxlade-Chamberlain

West Ham United have reportedly ended their pursuit of Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Hammers are no longer interested in the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as they focus on signing a new striker.

Oxlade-Chamberlain had been liked with a potential summer move to the Olympic Stadium to link up with the ever-improving Hammers but it is believed that Slaven Bilic's side will continue to harness their energies on landing a quality goalscorer with names such as Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke on the wish-list.

The Gunners youngster has also attracted interest from Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and former club Southampton as rumours regarding continue to place his future at the Emirates Stadium in doubt.
