West Ham United star Manuel Lanzini is happy with a tweaked role in pre-season.
The attacking midfielder is used to operating in more advanced areas of the pitch.
But he has worked hard to operate in a deeper-lying role in midfield, where he helps the team keep possession.
Asked about his pre-season and the new role, Lanzini told the club's website: "For me personally it's good.
"I'm feeling very well, it's a new position for me but I like it.
"I like it because I get more touches of the ball and can help the team keep possession.
"It's good to start to play, to get the minutes and I feel like I'm ready for the new season."
