West Ham United are interested in Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Mirror says West Ham are preparing to make a £10m offer for the England international.

The Hammers are turning to Oxlade-Chamberlain after seeing free agent Jesse Lingard enter talks with Nottingham Forest.

Having spent five years at Anfield, the 28-year-old has less than 12 months remaining on his contract and this season is likely to be his last with Liverpool.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has rarely put together a consistent run of starts since his arrival from Arsenal even though he has racked up 133 appearances for the Reds, with injuries often putting paid to promising veins of form.
