West Ham United are not interested in Chelsea's package to prise Declan Rice away from London Stadium.
Frank Lampard is desperate to bolster his defence and has targeted Rice, who was released by Chelsea as a teenager.
Reports in England on Tuesday claimed the Blues were willing to offer Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi in exchange for the England international.
However, the Guardian says West Ham are not interested in the deal, or any deal involving Rice for that matter.
The 21-year-old is under contract until 2024 and David Moyes wants to build his team around him.
This means Chelsea will have to return with a significant offer they want any chance of securing Rice's talents.
In a positive note for the Blues, they are close to completing a deal for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
