West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is pushing to land Blackburn Rovers fullback Martin Olsson.

Big Sam has already tried to sign the Swede but was put off by Rovers' £7million price tag.

West Ham lost centre-back James Collins with a hamstring injury in Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Sunderland so boss Allardyce knows he must act.

He said: "We'll see when I wake up on Monday. Then we'll see what's what, where's where and who wants to go here there and everywhere."
