West Ham United must wait for another 24 hours before learning the extent of Diafra Sakho's injury.
The Senegalese, who equalled the Premier League record with his sixth goal in six starts in Saturday's 2-1 win over Manchester City, injured his shoulder when colliding with Joe Hart.
The London Evening Standard says scans have confirmed there is no break but Sakho will see a specialist early this week to discover the extent of what is expected to be cartilage damage.
The former Metz player looks certain to miss Saturday's trip to Stoke and faces a battle to be fit for West Ham's next home game against Aston Villa a week later.
