West Ham United have made a move for Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants to bolster his midfield with Scott Parker on the verge of completing his deadline-day switch to Tottenham.
Lansbury, 20, only came on as a late substitute during Sunday's 8-2 defeat at Manchester United.
Despite Jack Wilshere's injury, Alex Song's suspension and the departures of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, debutant Francis Coquelin was preferred in the centre.
