West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison wants to be as good as Gazza. His two-goal performance for loan club QPR led Birmingham City boss Lee Clark to reiterate comparisons between Morrison and Paul Gascoigne, whom he reckons the ex-Manchester United youngster had never heard of.
Morrison said: "I didn't know who he was referring to at the time as in 'Gazza'! but I've caught on who Paul Gascoigne is.
"Can I be as good as Gazza? Hopefully, he was a special player, I'll try and be as good as him. I'll just carry on working at it and carry on doing what I can do.
"I left West Ham just to play. I wasn't getting a good chance there. So I came to QPR hoping to play and the manager's given me a chance. So I can play games."
