Cesena attacker Antonino Ragusa is the subject of interest from West Ham.

Ragusa, who can play as a striker and in midfield, could be on the move from his Serie B club before next week's transfer deadline.

Sportitalia says West Ham have approached Cesena to open talks for the 26 year-old and an offer is expected to be tabled this week.

Serie ASassuolo are also keen on Ragusa, though for the moment West Ham are regarded as surprise favourites for his signature.

Ragusa is a former Italy U21 international.
