West Ham United are keen to go after Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason according to reports.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is still searching for a quality goalscorer and sent a scout to cast an eye over the Iceland international on the weekend.
Finnbogason, who grew up in Edinburgh, has netted 11 goals in the Dutch Eredivisie already this season and it is believed that West Ham are determined to land him in January.
