Radoslav Kovac wants a permanent switch to West Ham when his season long loan deal from Spartak Moscow comes to an end. "The English Premier League is a step forward," the Czech midfielder told Sovetsky Sport.
"I had thought a few times about continuing my career in Europe, but the first step towards this change was made not by me, but by Spartak.
"The management made it known that they did not have any particular faith in me, and suggested that I find a new team. I did not want to leave Spartak."
"I don't want to go back," he stated. "I hope that West Ham will take up their right to my transfer.
"My feelings towards Spartak are divided. On the one hand I am a Spartak supporter.
"On the other, the four years I spent with the club contained such unhappiness."
