West Ham United are showing interest in Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty according to recent reports.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is believed to be a big fan of the 23-year old Northern Ireland international and has reportedly made contact with 'Gers regarding his availability.
Lafferty joined the Scottish champions from Burnley for £3.25million in 2008 and it is believed an offer of more than £2million would have Ally McCoist pondering a sale.
West Ham opened their Championship campaign with a 1-0 home loss to Cardiff City on the weekend and Allardyce is looking to bring in some quality up front after a lacklustre showing.
