Premier League clubs West Ham Unitred and Everton are competing for the services of Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal, according to the Daily Mail.

The Algeria international, who scored eight goals in Ligue 1 last season, has only one year left on his contract with his current club.

Lyon are supposedly involved in negotiations over a new deal with Ghezzal but an agreement between the two parties hasn't been reached.

French newspaper L'Equipe has claimed that Slaven Bilic's Hammers placed a bid of £6.8million for the 24-year-old on Tuesday afternoon.
