West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma says the players are behind captain Mark Noble after defeat to Manchester United.

Noble entered the pitch as a late substitute to take an injury-time penalty with the score at 2-1, but saw his effort saved by United goalkeeper David de Gea.

Zouma later said: “I'm sorry for Mark.

"We are sure that he will score for sure on another day, this is football. Noble is an experienced footballer to take penalties.

"Next time Mark will convert it."
