West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady would like to see David Dein named new FA chairman.

Ex-Arsenal vice-chairman Dein is in the running for the post.

Brady told The Sun: "I have a good chat with David Dein and I've no doubt he would make a huge difference to the FA if he were chairman.

"David is clever, direct and knows the politics of football. The FA are a mess of five parts and the right hand often doesn't even know where the left hand is."
