West Ham captain Nolan happy to continue recovery with friendly runout

West Ham United skipper Kevin Nolan saw action in a friendly against Norwich City yesterday.

The Hammers skipper continued his comeback from a shoulder injury with the run-out, as he led a young Hammers side who were edged out 2-1 by the Championship high-flyers.

"It was nice to get another 90 minutes. I felt a lot better than I did eight or nine days ago and it's coming back slowly but surely," Nolan told whufc.com.

"I've got to keep on working as hard as I can, training as hard as I can and hopefully I'll get my chance.

"I'm about three or weeks ahead of schedule from when I first suffered the injury and all the physios and coaching staff have been great. That support makes you want to be back."
