West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan admits Andy Carroll brings the team "alive".
Carroll is still not fully fit following eight months out with a foot injury but underlined his importance to West Ham's bid to stay in the Premier League when he played a major part in Kevin Nolan's goals in a 2-0 win.
"Andy just keeps things alive and that is why we feed off each other so well," said Nolan. "It has been my type of game to feed off a striker throughout my career.
"I've found it a bit difficult in the last six months not having a striker on many occasions but it is about being part of the team."
