West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola insists they haven't given up on signing Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh.

The Morocco international declared over the weekend he would be staying with his French club.

But after defeat to Tottenham yesterday, Zola said: "I don't think West Ham are his only potential destination. There are a few teams after him."
