West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has denied claims his club are chasing Charlie Austin.
Reports suggest the Hammers are hoping to bring the QPR striker to Upton Park this month but Bilic was quick to pour cold water over such speculation when speaking ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.
"Charlie Austin? That hasn't come from the club," he said.
"He's a good player, of course, but he was linked with most of the clubs when they [QPR] got relegated.
"We were among those clubs in the summer but we chose other options, and now we are not looking for that sort of player."
Austin has scored 10 goals in the Championship for the 16th-placed R's this season.
