West Ham United boss David Moyes has spoken about the return of Mark Noble to the club as Sporting Director.

The long-serving former player is now back with an important role within the club's setup.

As Moyes prepares for the January transfer window, he is likely to work closely with Noble and others to ensure they get players to push the team up the table.

On Noble, he stated per the club website: “It's great that Mark Noble is here for West Ham United.

“He's been someone who has given his whole career to this one Club and he's back in now, and we've got to remember now that he's in a new job and training up as a Sporting Director.

“It's great to have him around, for his personality and for what he brings to the football club."

West Ham take on Leeds United in midweek in what is a must win game.
