West Ham boss David Moyes is delighted with the form of Gianluca Scamacca.

The Italy striker has hit a rich seam of goalscoring form.

Ahead of their Europa Conference League clash with Anderlecht, Moyes said: "I think I've been impressed by him from day one. Some of the stuff he has done is really good.

"He had a virus at the start so it's taken us a bit of time to get him going. The version we've got at the moment has done really good but we think he can go even better."

On Manuel Lanzini, he added: "I think he's a better player as a No8 now. He played really well there a couple of years ago in Burnley, as a centre-midfielder. I actually think he's better there at the moment, behind the ball.

"I see him helping me build the play a bit in that role now. I really like him as a player."
