West Ham boss Moyes adamant Rice not for sale

West Ham United manager David Moyes has insisted Declan Rice is going nowhere.

The midfielder made it clear during the World Cup that he wants to move on to a club that is competing in Europe.

While the Hammers are battling to get away from the relegation battle, Moyes insists that Rice will be at the club until the end of the season at the very least.

"There will be no chance Declan leaves in this window if that's what you are talking about," Moyes told reporters.

"One hundred per cent I want to play in the Champions League," Rice had stated at the World Cup.

"For the last two or three years I've been saying that.

"I've been playing consistently well for my club and I feel like I really want to keep pushing. I see my friends here who are playing Champions League and for big trophies. You only get one career and at the end you want to look back at what you've won and the biggest names you've played in."
