West Ham United boss Avram Grant has sent an SOS to Kieron Dyer.

Grant reckons Dyer is ready to help save West Ham's season.

A muscle problem has kept the midfielder sidelined for the last three weeks.

But after injury-plagued Dyer played the last seven minutes at Birmingham, Hammers chief Grant said: "Kieron hasn't trained a lot but he felt better."

And with West Ham still rooted to the foot of the Premier League, Grant added: "I am sure he will help us as he looked good again."
