West Ham boss Bilic: Valencia is a 'good lad' despite medical rant

West Ham United forward Enner Valencia recently criticised the club for the apparently poor treatment of his injury.

Since then, the Ecuadorian has issued an apology and manager Slaven Bilic now believes the issue belongs in the past, labelling the player as a 'good lad'

The Croatian, in his pre-match conference ahead of the weekend's trip to Liverpool, revealed that he has received a personal apology from Valencia after he had denounced the club's treatment of his knee injury.

"He's a good lad and he apologised and he's back in the normal routine," Bilic said. "But he said some wrong things about the club that I really believe he didn't mean to."
