West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce regrets not landing Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor on deadline day.
The move was blocked by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy at the beginning of this month.
"If you see where he has gone and his initial impact at where he has been would be that he comes into a football club and scores goals on a regular basis.
"If you can get him, for me you get him if you can afford him. That is what we tried to do. There was such a short time frame at that time it was not possible to be pulled off," said Allardyce.
