West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has hailed the attitude of his foreign signings.
Allardyce wrote in the London Evening Standard: "The lads who have come from abroad have been miraculous, even someone like Mauro Zarate has done a job for us before he went on loan.
"Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia have been in the public eye but others - Morgan Amalfitano and Cheikhou Kouyate - have been just as good in their own way.
"As much as you drive your players and as much as I might tell them they're not playing as well as earlier in the season, there are underlying, contributory factors. It's not an excuse but reality."
