West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has hailed the impact of on-loan Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.
Allardyce admits Song's fashion sense is something different, but it hasn't affected his form.
"He's probably been over-shadowed by Valencia and Sakho but he's going to have a big impact for us as well," Allardyce said. "He has nothing to prove because of his quality.
"On the training ground he is a massive influence and in the changing room it's his dress sense that's the massive influence. I've never seen so many hats in my life - or scarves that look like tea towels.
"There's great banter when everyone takes the rip out of him when he comes in wearing that gear. He thinks it's top trendy but I'm too old to comment.
"He's flamboyant off the field and everybody has great respect for him because they know what he did before. There's still a lot more to come from him - he still hasn't hit his top form yet.
"Signing Alex Song, that's a Yaya Toure for us," Allardyce added. "We've got a top-quality player of the highest calibre and he's going to provide the sort of service our front line needs."
