West Ham United are pushing to re-sign Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole.
But the wage demands of the Liverpool flop could scupper a return.
Cole, 31, scored against the Hammers last Sunday, but boss Sam Allardyce said: "Joe would be a situation we'd look at."
