West Ham United and Newcastle are in talks to sign Jefferson Savarino, according to Sky Sports.

The Real Salt Lake star is currently being watched by both clubs while he plays at Copa America for Venezuela.

A 22-year-old playmaker, Savarino is apparently available for £6m.

Toon are still trying to buy Savarino's international teammate Salomon Rondon, but talks have been upheld due to a potential takeover of the club.
