George Thorne is determined to help Portsmouth beat the Championship drop.

Thorne, on loan from West Bromwich Albion for a second spell, is one of the few employees being paid, thanks to Albion.

He said: "A lot of the lads have got families, kids to look after. It hasn't happened to me, but you can only imagine what they're going through.

"Credit to them for going about their business as normal. That goes for the manager, the fans and everyone who works for the club. That shows the passion everyone has. We can turn that into a positive in the upcoming fixtures."
