West Bromwich Albion midfielder Chris Brunt has urged manager Roy Hodgson to remain with the club.
The Baggies have improved out of sight since the former Fulham and Liverpool boss took over at The Hawthorns in February last year and Brunt feels there is plenty of progress to be made if the current boss stays in charge.
"You can see the desire the lads have to play for the manager. The results he's had in his time at the club have shown that.
"The lads want him to stay. Look at the job he has done since he came here. I'm sure he'd like to stay but you'll have to ask him.
"There is no reason why we can't keep progressing but he is a major factor in that.""Roy has done very well since he came here and has got the lads on board with what he wants to do," Brunt said.
